Borderless Band

Borderless Band was founded in 2018 with the vision of creating and producing music without limitations of geography. Kourosh Babaei and Fariba Davoudy have collaborated with numerous international artists, producing various concerts and audio works. This year, as part of the Tirgan Festival, Borderless Band aims to present a unique concert by combining elements from Kurdish, Afghan, and Iranian music, alongside the participation of two guest singers. The concert will showcase a harmonious fusion of Iranian and Western instruments, featuring both familiar and innovative melodies. Prepare to experience this captivating blend at the Borderless Band concert during the Tirgan Festival.

Female singers in Iran are known amongst their own public as nothing but heroes. They are under religious and political oppression and face great many hardships in their path of “freedom to sing publicly”. It is important to note that given all these obstacles they have always excelled in art and music , to leave a legacy of their own behind. They have spent countless number of years fighting for their right of voice against the Iranian regime in hopes of a brighter future. Vocalist Fariba Davody and artist Kourosh Babaei have come together as one and created the band “without borders”. This collaboration’s sole purpose is to represent all the brave Iranian and non Iranian vocal artist and singers who are under such many oppressions. In this show we shall present Afghan, Farsi, Turkish Azari, Kurdish, and Arabic music.

 بوردرلس بند در سال 2018 با چشم انداز ایجاد و تولید موسیقی بدون محدودیت جغرافیایی تأسیس شد. کوروش بابایی و فریبا داودی با هنرمندان بین المللی متعددی همکاری داشته اند و کنسرت ها و آثار صوتی مختلفی را تهیه کرده اند. گروه بدون مرز امسال به عنوان بخشی از جشنواره تیرگان قصد دارد با ترکیب عناصری از موسیقی کردی، افغانی و ایرانی در کنار حضور دو خواننده مهمان، کنسرتی منحصر به فرد را ارائه دهد. در این کنسرت، تلفیقی هماهنگ از سازهای ایرانی و غربی با ملودی های آشنا و بدیع به نمایش گذاشته می شود. برای تجربه این ترکیب جذاب در کنسرت گروه بدون مرز در جشنواره تیرگان آماده شوید.
