Mehrdad Teymoori

Mehrdad Teymoori, born in 1979 in Tehran, is the founder and conductor of the Pars Recorder Orchestra and Shargh Chamber Orchestra.
Mehrdad has introduced various techniques for Recorder, specifically in performing orchestral works in the past two decades. In this regard, he has arranged many of the classic repertoires from various composers for the Recorder Orchestra.
He has conducted the “Shargh” Chamber Orchestra in several festivals and annual concerts since 2013. He is a member of the American Recorder Society and has completed several master’s courses in the United States, Germany, and France. “The Recorder as an Instrument of Peace” is the title of the article that he has written in American Recorder Magazine (Winter 2012).
Mehrdad has 25 years of experience teaching music to children and adults, many of his former students have performed in orchestras around the world. Throughout the years, a significant number of music teachers have participated in Mehrdad’s music training courses and/or have attended his classes as an assistant.
