Professor Arsalan Kahnemuyipour (University of Toronto)
Arsalan Kahnemuyipour is a Professor of Linguistics at the Department of Language Studies, University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) and at the Department of Linguistics, University of Toronto St. George (UTSG). His areas of expertise are syntax and the syntax-phonology interface, with a focus on the syntax of Iranian languages. He has published articles on a range of topics including the syntax of noun phrases with a focus on nominal linkers such as the Ezafe, agreement in copular clauses, wh-questions, second position clitics and sentential stress. Professor Kahnemuyipour is an active member of the Iranian-Canadian community in the Greater Toronto Area.
